Abstract
For me life has always been a splendid tapestry made of ordinary objects, daily routines and common occurrences. When I make art the main thread of thought is a deliberate exploration of what people frequently encounter in everyday living. Etched in my mind are many moments of awe over some commonplace experiences. I want to communicate this sense of wonder because I think the mundane is a common ground which can facilitate communication and perhaps be a springboard for comprehension of existence.
Besides a clarification of this basic concern with the mundane, I also include some personal philosophy and quests which relate to my making art works.
