Continuation of discussions of discrimination in Texas, first class in Texas was put in kindergarten at age 13 because of him not knowing English, learning English with Sears catalogue in bathroom, learning US patriotic songs; move to Albuquerque and more on schooling  at Menaul Sch. , experience in high school track sport; interactions with teachers and other students (Nuevomexicanos), sports, Spanish language of New Mexico and first experiences interviewing local people “registrar voces.”; examples of New Mexican Spanish words and phrases; teaching at UNM and Highland University and taking visitors from Latin America to visit small towns in New Mexico, research on New Mexico’s Spanish vocabulary “es un Español delicioso”, Spanish: continuation of talk about Wagon Mound and the “hispanitos” there (mentions various names), hunting experiences. 1937 graduation (ends abruptly).
