Continued: some local people; Felix Martinez, Octaviano Larrazolo, Casimiro Barela who flipped his political side from Republican to Democrat, working in la Borrega for Casimiro Barela and other stories about his experiences while working for Mr. Barela's extended ranch. Stories about don Casimiro Barela's high temper and his reputation of a womanizer. Story about Eusebio Chacón, don Casimiro's son in law, and the herd of goats that got lost, rather stolen in the hills. Story about Don Casimiro's adopted son named Marcos Beyta, who worked in la Borrega but when he grew up he married an older lady [a viuda] to escape his life of servitude in La Borrega. Don Casimiro Barela was a land owner who frequently bought or took over lands with good water sources, so he owned a lot of estate.
