Discussion topics: Family history: Born on July 25, 1911. He was the last child of the Sandovales from Mora. His father was a ministro del evangelio [protestant] en Chacón and Ranchos de Taos. Family relations, his education in protestant religious schools where Anglo-American missionaries were the teachers, speaking NM Spanish language. He developed good proficiency in English, but Spanish language was the language of his soul, so he wrote poetry, stories, op-ed articles and books focusing on the socioeconomic reality of the Hispanic community. His views of the economic development, education, and general progress in the Hispanic community. His writing was inspired by George I. Sanchez' book, his perspectives on Federal Government management of lands and its effects on the Hispanic Community. Memories of his Spanish language learning with a Spanish teacher while he was studying at NM Highlands University and the development of his personal philosophy. His expertise in geology and water management enabled him to travel and present projects out of state. The challenges of aging and his fond memories writing poetry. He recites a poem by a Latin American poet and a poem by himself 'Juan del Río'.
