Abstract
In many parts of the world, recent years have brought with them a rapid increase in such things as new products on the market, new consumer demands, as standards of living increase, and new and faster transportation to join these supply and demand elements. One part of the world may be better suited, in terms of land, labor, capital, technology, and management to produce a given product than another. Thus the idea of global marketing has been raised from a position of comparatively minor importance to that of the complex giant it is today.
