Abstract
The Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) and Sandia National Laboratories, New Mexico (SNL/NM) have submitted the Long-Term Monitoring and Maintenance Plan (LTMMP) to the New Mexico Environment Department, as required by the May 2005 Final Order. The LTMMP, which took effect on January 8, 2014, defines all remedy controls and monitoring, inspection, maintenance, repair, and reporting requirements for the MWL. The purpose of the long-term monitoring and maintenance program is to ensure that the final remedy (i.e., vegetative soil cover with biointrusion barrier) remans protective of human health and the environment. 276 pages.
