The purpose of the present study is to analyze the oral examination mentioned above and the results obtained. This analysis will consist of three parts: first, a description of the statistical methods by which the oral ratings were converted into quantitative results; second, an internal analysis of the examination itself with a brief discussion of the validity and reliability of the examination; and third, a survey of the external factors inherent in the examinees and situations which influenced the ratings of the judges.
