Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the academic, vocational, and recreational training afforded by the New Mexico Home and Training School for Mental Defectives at Los Lunas, New Mexico. The criteria for judgment of the training techniques and procedures are three-fold: comparison with recommended training, the present activities of discharged inmates of the institution, and comparison with offerings of other state institutions.
