A Study of the Interplay of Political, Economic, Social, and Psychological Forces in Postwar America

Abstract
This paper started as an attempt to collect and compare the various postwar plans prepared by public and private agencies and organizations. The directory of postwar planning bodies published annually by the Twentieth Century Fund contains the names of about 200 such agencies but fails to give details as to their plans. It was thought that it might be possible to synthesize the various plans into a master plan containing the best feature of all.
