Abstract
It is the purpose of this study to give an insight into the political operation of the Republican party in the years 1926-1930. Richard C. Dillon was governor during this period and the central story is built around him and his administration. This period of political history in New Mexico is interesting from the standpoint of the personalities that were engaged in politics.
