Abstract

It has been a rather consistent pattern for natural law thinking to flourish in times of crisis and times of "faith," varied as the "faiths" have been. Accordingly, it does not seem overly surprising to find in our present period of high tension many troubled souls being drawn toward the old natural concept and advocating its revival, advocating it as a kind of "natural cement" to paste together a badly disunited world.
