Abstract
This Indian Health Service (IHS) report presents the fiscal year 1990 distribution of outpatient data relating to hypertensive disease for patients treated at IHS and tribal direct and contract facilities. This report discusses the distribution of problems or clinical impressions as recorded by physicians and other providers of heath care. The primary source material for this document is the Ambulatory Patient Care Report and the Patient Care Component System Form S. For contract care, the source document is the Purchase/Delivery Order for Contract Health Services for Other than Hospital Inpatient or Dental. The data provided are tabulated by patient's age and sex and the type of facility (direct or contract).
