Abstract

Criminal Justice In America: A WNET Summit is a virtual gathering of thought leaders from across communities and across the U.S. for a frank, thoughtful, and informative conversation about the criminal justice system today. The panelists will discuss the lead criminal justice issues and narratives affecting America, and what can be done about them. The focus is on strategies and solidarity, with an understanding of history and eyes toward the future.

"Chasing the Dream" is a cross-platform public media initiative from WNET in New York reporting on the human stories of poverty and showcasing innovative solutions. Our goal is to better inform with facts that go beyond personal biases, media narratives, and presumptions about income inequality, opportunity, and the American Dream.
