This talk explores Madeline Alviso Ramirez's photographic theory of the "G-Angel" though her renditions of "Chola-homegirls." Vargas' forthcoming book Sucialogy will expand on how these images provide sucialogical lessons on how these women create queer life forces in defiance of radical capitalism, assimilation, and gender conformity.
