Description
Luis (Lucho) A. Rodríguez is originally from Cusco, Peru, and now calls Albuquerque home. An architect and musician by nature, Lucho retired from architecture to fully embrace his passion for music. As a singer and composer of Andean music, he is a multi-instrumentalist, skilled in the charango, zampoñas, quena, and guitar. In this presentation, Lucho shared his experiences as an Andean musician and his knowledge of the Peruvian Quechua language. He performed songs in Quechua and showcased some of the instruments he plays.
