This workshop will consist of a lecture and a practical component in which attendees will create an activity, which they can apply and implement in their classrooms, regardless of the language they teach.Attendees are encouraged to read this short op-ed before the event: “How Did This Class Prepare You for Extinction?”

This event is co-sponsored by the Department of Spanish & Portuguese, the Language Learning Center, the Sustainability Studies Program, and the Latin American & Iberian Institute.
