LAII sits down with Neider Devia, PhD student and Colombia Fulbright Scholar who joined our institute in Fall 2022. Neider is a member of Resguardo Indigena Guasimal, a Colombian indigenous community located in the south of the province of Tolima. He was awarded the Fulbright Colombia Scholarship for Indigenous Communities to complete a doctorate program in the U.S. as a member of the Fulbright Colombia Commission’s 2022 cohort.
