Abstract

This presentation is designed for Dental Medicine Journal Club attendees, focusing on developing clinical scholarship skills. Key topics include research question formation (PICOT, FAC Rubric), dental resources navigation (PubMed, EMBASE, BrowZine, open data repositories), advanced literature search techniques (Boolean operators, truncation, wildcards, proximity operators, subject headings), full-text access tools (LibKey Nomad, interlibrary loan), critical appraisal tools (CASP, JBI, PRISMA-S), publishing workflow (Zotero, ORCID, open access publishing), and a summary of HSLIC educational and research support services. The session aims to equip dental residents to engage in evidence-based scholarship and professional growth.
