Description
Charles Scott wears a face mask to attend the internment service for his great-grandmother during COVID-19. His Great-grandmother, Lu Radaelli, passed away in February of 2020, just before New Mexico's "Stay at Home" public health orders were issued. Her funeral services were delayed because of the closures and travel bans, which prevented family from being able to attend. The family was finally able to reschedule her internment, but had to follow strict guidelines to attend the service - gathering limited to 5 people, everyone must wear a face covering, and they could only watch from their car during the internment, but were allowed to gather (six-feet apart) after the funeral staff left the site.
