The Homestead Geography Project consists of 53 audio interviews with original homesteaders from northeastern New Mexico, conducted by Dr. Jerry L. Williams, of the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies, University of New Mexico, between 1980 and 1986. Additional materials include unpublished reports, research notes, original business directories, hand-drawn maps, and land ownership information.
