Abstract
This report presents May 1953 labor market and employment security statistics, including employment service activities, unemployment compensation administration, labor placements, and agricultural labor referrals. In addition to detailed state-by-state workforce data, the volume contains special tables on dependents’ allowances, documenting unemployment insurance beneficiary characteristics and benefit utilization patterns.
