Abstract
This report presents detailed May 1951 statistics on employment service operations, unemployment insurance administration, labor placements, agricultural labor referrals, and employer contribution programs. Special tables document labor market participation by women, veterans, and handicapped workers while providing extensive state-level measures of employment security system performance during the Korean War-era economy.
