Abstract
This report compiles national and state labor market and employment security data for late 1956, including placement activity, unemployment insurance operations, employer reporting, appeals decisions, and workforce service statistics. The issue also provides detailed analyses of benefit claimants, exhaustions, dependents’ allowances, and labor force services for women, veterans, and handicapped workers.
