Abstract
This report summarizes New Mexico labor market conditions in February 1977, highlighting employment growth in government, construction, and mining while noting continued declines in retail trade following the holiday season. It also examines statewide unemployment, occupational labor supply and demand, wage trends, and the increasing importance of uranium and coal mining within New Mexico’s economy.
