Abstract
This report describes New Mexico’s late‑1976 labor conditions, noting a modest decline in unemployment to 6.3% and strong seasonal gains in Wholesale & Retail Trade, partly due to “the return to work of retail clerks involved in a labor dispute.” It also provides detailed industry‑level employment changes and characteristics of job applicants statewide.
