Abstract
Business activity in New Mexico in August 1961 remained essentially unchanged from the previous year, with employment weakening in manufacturing but strong gains in government and mineral production. As the report notes, “Precisely the same level of business activity was conducted in the State during August 1961 as during the previous August.”
