Abstract
This report documents renewed economic strength in August 1960, driven by rising bank debits, mining recovery, and increased construction awards, stating that business activity “was up well… for the first time since February.” It also summarizes a National Association of Manufacturers forecast projecting major demographic, labor force, and occupational shifts in New Mexico through 1970.
