Abstract
The report documents a rare decline in statewide business activity, noting that March business levels fell below the previous year for the first time since 1956, largely due to a steep construction slowdown—“construction contracts awarded are running almost 50% behind last year’s.” The remainder of the publication provides an extensive decade-long analysis of Albuquerque retail food prices from 1949–1959.
