Abstract
This master's thesis analyzes changes in earnings among White and Hispanic men in Albuquerque between 1979 and 1989, finding declines in real earnings alongside growing wage inequality. Using census microdata, the study examines the effects of education, labor market experience, industry, occupation, and demographic factors on earnings trends and disparities.
