Abstract
This report compiles detailed demographic and labor force statistics for New Mexico based primarily on 1970 Census data, with a particular focus on minority populations, including American Indian, Black, Spanish-surname, Asian American, and other racial and ethnic groups. It provides county-level population distributions by age, sex, and race, along with occupational workforce participation and earnings data, documenting employment patterns, income disparities, and labor force characteristics across a wide range of professions and industries in the state.
