Abstract

In the long history of European anti-semitism, the period from 1880 to 1917 was one of the most intense with major anti-Jewish movements occurring in France, Germany, and Russia. This study explores the reaction of a broad cross-section of the British press to the phenomenon of European anti-semitism during this period.
