Abstract
This workbook contains the chemical analysis of a geothermal water sample taken at the inlet of the membrane distillation pilot plant located at Masson Geothermal Greenhouse. Additionally, this workbook contains the calculations necessary for simulating the geothermal water in a laboratory setting. These calculations are important to the membrane distillation bench-scale experiments, because they allow us to simulate the geothermal water at the pilot-plant; this allows us to study the fouling potential (precipitation behavior) of the water in a controlled laboratory setting.
