Abstract
This workbook contains the rheological analysis and results of a membrane polymer solution containing 15% PVDF polymer powder, 13% ethylene glycol (EG), and 72% N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone. This rheological study was performed in order to determine the optimal temperature for polymer solution extrusion during the membrane fabrication process. In order to effectively extrude hollow fiber membranes under current conditions, the polymer solution viscosity needs to relatively low.
