Abstract
The apparent viscosity of polymer membrane solution is inversely correlated to solution temperature; therefore, as the temperature of the polymer solution increases, the apparent viscosity of the solution decreases. Understanding the relationship between temperature and apparent viscosity for any polymer membrane solution is integral to the membrane fabrication process. By performing rheology at various temperatures on this 12% PVDF membrane solution, membrane fabrication methods can be further understood and optimized.
