Abstract
It was the purpose of this study (1) to ascertain the value of student newspapers to the students, to the community, and to school administrators, (2) to study and analyze the role of school newspapers in the process of education as represented in the high school curriculum, (3) to ascertain the status and characteristics of high school newspapers; and (4) to ascertain the cost and means of financing high school newspapers, in the state of New Mexico.
