Abstract
This study examined socialization processes which occurred during the teaching years of administrative candidates, Within the overarching conceptualization of candidacy as a process of role learning, the five lower-order concepts of anticipatory socialization, interpersonal orientation, perspective, situational adjustment, and organizational space were utilized to clarify phenomena occurring during the candidacy period of the administrative career.
