Abstract
It is the purpose of this study (1) to trace the development of the safety patrol movement in the Elementary schools of New Mexico; (2) to investigate the sponsorship, organization, and supervision of these safety patrols; (3) to enumerate the types and use of safety patrol equipment; and (4) to appraise the value of the safety patrol as a medium of citizenship training.
