Abstract
In order to assess the effect of the resource room (RR), it was essential to design a study to determine how successful former RR children are in maintaining or generalizing academic changes in other learning environments. Thus, the primary purpose of the study was to ascertain if the rate of academic gain made during part-time placement in a RR would be maintained following a year of full-time attendance in a regular class.
