Abstract
The primary purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a psychodramatic experience on the personal and interpersonal development of student nurses. Because student nurses in their psychiatric training at Nazareth Hospital are required to attend a psychodrama orientation and demonstration, this study was intended to further evaluate the usefulness of psychodrama with student nurses over an established period of time. Previous research in the area suggested that positive affective and behavioral changes frequently result from the use of psychodrama. The present study focused upon the concerns expressed by the students and their instructors.
