Abstract
The writer had tentatively accepted the hypothesis that conditioning exercises, which include the deep knee bend, duck walk, frog hop, jeep, jumping jack, and Russian are harmful to the ligaments and supporting structures of the knee, and contribute to a greater frequency of knee injuries among football players.
