Abstract
In the System Generated Electro-Magnetic Pulse (SGEMP) simulator, a flux of high energy photons are introduced into a vacuum chamber. These photons strike the walls of the chamber, producing compton electrons. As this effect is not present in the environment to be simulated, it is desirable to prevent these electrons from entering the working volume of the chamber.
