Colonial Latin American Historical Review
Second Series, Volume 1, Issue 1 (Winter 2013)
From the Editor's Desk
With this issue, we announce a new series for the Colonial Latin American Historical Review (CLAHR), beginning with Volume 1, Number 1 (Winter 2013). Among other reasons, the change is necessary to coordinate CLAHR's cover date and schedule for each issue with the actual year of publication.
This is an exciting time for CLAHR as we begin 2013 with this promising venture. To that end, this change is aimed at encouraging new participation from our faithful, established researchers and supporters, as well as from new audiences, including those who are beginning their academic careers. We look forward to working with you and providing and upholding the same scholarly standards as in the past.
On behalf of CLAHR's dedicated staff, I thank you for your loyalty and support of our journal over the past two decades.
