Abstract
Heat transfer measurements were made for steam vapor condensing at one atmosphere on the outer surface of a horizontal square tube with a side of one inch, when rotated at between O and 1950 rpm. The Froude number (FR) was based on the side length. Three distinct heat-transfer regimes were observed and are correlated with FR. The first is gravitation controlled condensate flow when FR is less than 2.0 and the condensing film heat-transfer coefficient decreases. When 2.0
