View from the Cidade Alta of the Bafa de Todos os Santos, with the island of Itaparica in the background. The bay is the largest on the Brazilian continent with numerous islands, the largest being Itaparica. Itaparica is 36 km long and like many of the other islands possesses spetacular white beaches.Vista da Cidade Alta para a Baía de Todos os Santos e, ao fundo, a ilha de Itaparica. A baía é a maior do continente brasileiro, com numerosas ilhas, sendo a ilha de Itaparica a maior delas. Esta ilha tem 36 kilometros de comprimento e, como muitas outras ilhas, possui espetaculares praias de areias brancas.
