5) View of the Pão de Açucar (far left), Morro ("hiU") dos Cabritos (center), and Lagoa ("lake") Rodrigo de Freitas from the Tijuca Park overlooking the southern part of the city. The remaining vegetation is characterized by dense semi-deciduous tropical mata atlântica forest and a drive through the Tijuca Park provides a good example of the flora which covered most of the coastal region of Brazil. The climate is warm and humid.5) Vista do Pão de Açúcar (à esquerda), Morro dos Cabritos (no centro) e Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, olhando-se a zona sul da cidade do Parque da Tijuca. A vegetação restante caracteriza-se pela mata atlantica densa, semi-decídua e tropical, e uma volta pelo Parque da Tijuca dá uma boa visão da flora que cobriu a maior parte da região costeira do Brasil. O clima é quente e úmido.
