Another phenomenon of Brazilian arts in the Seventies was the interest in new forms: performance art, earthworks, conceptual and audiovisual installations. The first multimedia exhibit Expo-Projeção took place in São Paulo in 1973. Among the participants was António Dias, Hélio Oiticica, and Anna Bella Geiger.
