Description
35. Meninas com a folha de bananeira (Children With a Banana Leaf), 1928-29. Segall paints his figures in a grid-like composition and an almost monochromatic palette typical of Cubism. Qnly the banana leaf, a tropical trope, acts as a Brazilian reference.
