22. Efeitos do sol: Itália (Sunlight Effects: Italy), 1892. Belmiro Barbosa de Almeida was one of several Brazilian painters to work, for a time, in a style influenced by European Impressionism, though more conservative in the degree to which form was subjugated to perception and the optical effects of light.
