A crowd waiting for charity given out by a local Catholic church in Olinda (PE). The Catholic church and others are active in providing basic services and information to low income residents in urban centers. Often they help organize local favela associations to press claims for better social services from the government.Uma multidão esperando por caridade dada por uma igreja católica local em Olinda (PE). A Igreja Católica e outras são ativas em prover serviços básicos e informação aos residentes de baixa renda nos centros urbanos. Muitas vezes elas ajudam a organizar associações locais de favelas com o fim de pressionar o governo por melhores serviços sociais.
