A coffee fazenda casa grande in the interior of Minas Gerais. The economic disparities existing today are the result of an elitist colonial society created by the Portuguese. Whether it was sugarcane, coffee or rubber that dominated the economy, the basic divisions of society remained the same.Casa grande de uma fazenda de café no interior de Minas Gerais. As disparidades económicas hoje existentes são o resultado de uma sociedade coloníal elitista criada pelos portugueses. Pouco importando que a economia tenha sido dominada pela cana de açúcar, café ou borracha, as divisões básicas da sociedade permaneceram as mesmas.
